What’s blue and white and red all over?
What’s blue and white and red all over?
Yes, it’s the sixth annual Fourth of July Party at the Waimea Town Market at Parker School.
A huge helping of fun will be delivered as the Waimea Town Market welcomes everyone to this community celebration Saturday, July 5, on the Parker School campus. Merriment for all is the order of the day as a variety of games and give-aways are served up in red, white and blue style. United States flags (while they last) are the market’s gift to keiki.
The party begins at 9 a.m. There will be an “egg” carry race at 9:30 and a sack race at 10:30, and face painting from 9 a.m.-noon. The popular watermelon eating contest is slated for 11:15 a.m. Prize ribbons will be awarded to contest winners.
So come one, come all, and join in the events or just settle back and join in the fun. It’s all free — and don’t forget your camera.
